• Prospect data is not kept beyond three years from the last contact for commercial purposes.
• Connection and browsing data obtained through cookies is not kept for more than thirteen months.
• Customer data is kept for five years after the customer account is closed.

Afrik Abitat takes necessary and useful physical, technical, administrative, and organizational precautions to protect data, taking into account current knowledge, implementation costs, the nature and context of processing, and risks to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

Registration and online publication of rental advertisements on the website are free. Registration requires express acceptance of and continued compliance with these Terms.

A person must complete all required registration fields, including name, email address, and primary telephone number, choose a strictly personal and confidential password, and validate their credentials. A contract for use of the website is concluded when Afrik Abitat confirms the opening of the account by email.

A User may then use Afrik Abitat services, publish an advertisement for property offered for sale, or search for property to purchase in compliance with applicable law.

A User may register only once. Afrik Abitat may request supporting documents to verify submitted information and may refuse or terminate registration where a User contravenes these Terms.

If a User becomes aware that their credentials have been misused, the User must immediately notify Afrik Abitat at contact@afrikabitat.com. Afrik Abitat cannot be held responsible for such misuse.

Registration is reserved for natural persons aged at least 18, legal persons, and partnerships with capacity to perform legal acts. Afrik Abitat may request parental authorization where necessary. Registration for a legal entity must be completed by its legal representative or another duly authorized person.
