Afrik Abitat was founded to transform Africa’s real estate landscape by connecting the diaspora with vetted, on‑the‑ground professionals. Rooted in practical experience and principled leadership, we create secure, high‑impact pathways for diaspora investors to build equity and meaningful ties to the homeland.
Our roots trace to founder Ousmane Keita’s earlier initiatives: Africa Urban Development (2010), which pioneered green affordable housing in Guinea and Senegal, and Dakar Vert (2012), an environmental film festival that advanced ecological awareness. These projects shaped our guiding principles; integrity, innovation, sustainability, and African excellence. They inform every project and partnership we pursue.
